Joyce Hinkle and Liza Morrow were recently awarded the Subcontractor Submission Award for FY 2012.  This award was presented by Jeremy Thompson, Branch Manager of the Human Service Transportation Delivery, Office of Transportation Delivery located within the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet.

SVTS was recently awarded with the "Outstanding Statewide New Freedom Award for persons with disabilities" for 2011.  The award was given by The Commonwealth of Kentucky, Office of Transportation Delivery.

Sandy Valley Transportation is currently offering all possible transportation needs to the communities affected by the recent flooding in Pike County.

On August 8, 2010 we provided transport services for the Flood Relief for Kids at the East Ky Expo Center.  During the program we handed out 100 free Dail-A-Ride tickets to assist with the financial burdens during this difficult time.  We also had a 26 passenger bus avaliable for anyone needing to go to Wal-mart and or the grocery store to redeem vouchers given out at the program from community services.
